5. MYST In Other Mediums?
Kyle: Radio.
Robyn: Never thought of it.
Rand: Never thought of it, now we'll have to go home and look at it.
Kyle: But you are so dependent on sound, I thought it might be an interesting concept.
Rand: I can't picture it now, but who knows.
Kyle: Television.
Rand: Kind of a cheap feel to it.
Robyn: Always a little sloppy.
Rand: We try to stay away from it. But people do good stuff now and then. I don't know, I can't see that one either.
Kyle: Film?
Rand: We are considering.
Kyle: A web site.
Rand: Online in general. Right now the limitations we see online are speed. We don't want to take a step backward from where we've gotten to.
Kyle: An amusement park.
Robyn: That appeals to us quite a bit.
Rand: Not so much an amusement park as a world, or an island that you could go to that is just like Myst.
Kyle: When I was cruising Stone Ship in Myst I kept thinking, I want to be here.
Rand: This probably won't amuse your readers, but I am a big fan of Walt Disney and what he created in Disneyland. And even though that's a bit outdated now, when he did that it was a real revolutionary concept. He created a world and that's something that not many people get to do.
Robyn: It would be fabulous.
Kyle: So???
Rand: Don't know.
Robyn: We've tossed around the idea.
Kyle: Would love to do it but don't have the $100,000,000?
Rand: It is something we've thought about but those things don't come along every day.
Robyn: And it would probably be a bit more than $100,000,000.
Rand: It would be a big world. We're looking at planets at this point.
