Miss Vera's Academy Online

tips from her finishing school for boys who want to be girls

by Veronica Vera

Here are some of the questions asked most often by students: [The Miss Vera FAQ, if you will, ed.]

Why do I feel this way?

Your femmeself is there for a reason. She is the personification of your needs. She is the uninhibited part of you. The more you nourish her and let her be your guide, the more you will learn about yourself. At the academy, we believe by putting the clothes in your closet and letting the girl out, we can help you to be a happier, healthier, and more loving human being.

Do you have many students?

What you are really asking is "Are there other 'girls' like me?" According to the International Foundation for Gender Education, publishers of TAPESTRY magazine in Wayland, Massachusetts, approximately 5% of the male population feels the need, at least ocassionally, to wear women's clothing. That is millions of men. From the number of calls we get at the academy, from across the country and around the world, I consider this to be a conservative estimate. In other words, you belong to a very big sorority.

What are some of the courses offered at the academy?

We can teach you how to do your own make-up, how to walk in high heels, how to speak in a more feminine manner. We offer French maid training, ballet one and tu-tu, courses in how to share your femmeself with your partner, and much much more.

Do you think my wife or lover will understand?

You must be the first to understand. So that when you share crossdressing with others, you do so from a place of confidence and fun rather than from a place of terror and shame. You must do your homework, learn as much as you can. There are lots of benefits to your crossdressing that can be shared with others. You will be happy to know that more and more students come to the academy accompanied by their wives. In our first two years of inception, we saw two husbands with wives. Just recently we saw two couples in one month, so participation of wives and partners is on the rise. Just remember, be generous with your clothes, but don't be so quick to borrow hers. Wait to be invited into her drawers.

Do you have a question that involves sharing your femmeself with a partner? Or is there something else bothering your pretty head? I invite you to send me your questions via this column. Please be considerate of other students and of your teacher's time, by keeping your questions short. Cherchez la femme.
